About DCE

         Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi is one of the oldest and a premier technical institution of the country. Established in 1940, originally as Delhi Polytechnic functioning 5 directly under Govt. of India, the college is presently under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and is affiliated to University of Delhi for all academic purposes. Since more than sixty years the college has made significant contribution towards the development of relevant manpower to meet the requirements of scientific and industrial advancement of the country. The college shifted its academic activities to the new campus near Sector-17, Rohini, in the Shahbad Daulatpur area of outer Delhi, around 1998-99.
