Exam Pattern

Selection is on merit in CPMT in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology carrying 300 marks in each paper and is of 2-1/2 hours duration each. The questions are of objective type and the standard is of Intermediate. There's an additional paper of Hindi/English. However, marks secured in this paper are not added in Merit List. Candidates are required to obtain 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Science subject and 35% marks in Hindi/English to qualify the Test. In case of tie, marks obtained in Chemistry decides the merit. Where the marks in Chemistry paper are equal, marks in the Zoology paper decide inter-se ranking.
